The Consular Section of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in New Zealand has started accepting China UnionPay, and mobile payments. The Consular Section currently accepts payment made by credit card(Visa and MasterCard), EFTPOS and bank cheque, in addition to these payment options, payment for the consular service can now be made by credit card or debit card with China UnionPay logo, UnionPay Quickpass, Wechat Pay and Alipay. All the new payment options are only available at the counter of the Consular Section, applications submitted by post or courier still required to be paid by bank cheque only.
